New Members

During the recent meetings of the ILS Board of Directors held in Vancouver in Octobre 2017, several new member federations were accepted into the ILS family as new members in various categories.

Bahrain: The Royal Bahrain Lifesaving Federation became Full Member of the ILS on 15 October 2017
Niger: The Fédération Nigérienne de Sauvetage et de Secourisme (FNSS) or in English the Niger Republic Lifesaving and First Aid Federation became Full Member of the ILS on 15 October 2017.
Djibouti: The Djiboutian Underwater Sports and Lifesaving Federation became Full Member of the ILS on 16 October 2017.
Venezuela: The YMCA of Venezuela re-entered the ILS Family as a Full Member after fees from former years were paid.
Uganda: The Uganda Lifesaving Federation re-entered the ILS Family as a Full Member after fees from former years were paid.
Tanzania: The Tanzania Lifesaving Federation re-entered the ILS Family as a Full Member after fees from former years were paid.

Malta: The Malta Red Cross Society became Associated Member of the ILS on 15 October 2017.
Malta: The Malta Emergency Response and Rescue Corps Associated Member of the ILS on 15 October 2017

Albania: The Albanian Federation Coarst Lifeguards and Water Rescue became Corresponding Member of the ILS on 15 October 2017
Brunei: The Brunei Beach Bunch Association became Corresponding Member of the ILS on 15 October 2017
Chile: The Chile Lifeguard Foundation became Corresponding Member of the ILS on 15 October 2017
Colombia: The Corporation for Drowning Prevention, Security and Marine Rescue became Corresponding Member in September 2016 and this was now confirmed on 15 October 2017.

The ILS welcomes all new members. The Membership count is nowadays 146 Members.
