9th Middle East Beach and Pool Life Saving Competition

Each year the national and Middle East Beach and Pool life saving competitions are held in Iran.

Each year the national and Middle East Beach and Pool life saving competitions are held in Iran.

This year the Lifesaving Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran invited the regional countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Azerbaijan to participate in the 9th Middle East Beach and Pool life saving competitions.

The competition took place at Qeshm Island from 20 November until 2 December 2008 in two different parts, for men and women.

The results of the competition were:

  • 1st place: Iran (A)
  • 2nd place: Iran (B)
  • 3rd place: The United Arab Emirates
