WWS 2011 Bid opened

The World Water Safety Conference and Exhibition (WWS) is one of the most important events on the calendar of the ILS.

The World Water Safety Conference and Exhibition (WWS) is one of the most important events on the calendar of the ILS. The World Water Safety Conference and Exhibition is a global conference offered by the ILS.

The purpose of the WWS Conference is to bring together the world’s foremost experts, research, systems and information for exchange, debate, and further development that will lead to reduction of death and injury in all aquatic environments worldwide.

This past September in Portugal, World Water Safety 2007 Conference and Exhibition (WWS 2007) was held with more than 300 delegates and 110 speakers from over 45 countries. This conference was a resounding success and follows the World Congress on Drowning held in Amsterdam in 2002 and the ILS International Medical and Rescue Conference held in San Diego USA in 1997.

It is proposed that WWS 2011 will have two major events associated and simultaneous, the Conference and the International Water Safety Exhibition of lifesaving products, services and information.

Bids close on 15 March 2008.
